WEB MAIL "HELD" FOLDER

The Web Mail HELD folder is designed to manage SPAM type e-mail or un recognized e-mail based on e-mail address or subject line of the sender. It is the responsibility of the account holder to decide what content will be "RELEASED or ALLOWED" into their "INBOX"

The "HELD" folder is located as the last file folder in the folder selection of your Web Mail account.  The MIS Dept. does not monitor the held folders of users unless a problem is reported.  It is possible that new senders e-mail may end up in this folder . we would advise checking this folder at least on a daily basis. ease delete junk or SPAM type e-mail from this folder often. This material does take up space on the Web Mail server.

Outlook users must also monitor their "HELD" folder. Your Outlook account does not manage this content in any way.
